The official website for Fabrice Lambot's English-language French-Argentine horror Dying God is now online, although at present it's just a home page. Also, seven more stills from the movie have been added to the MySpace official page for it. ScreenAnarchy, in association with GOMORRAHY.com, is now providing modified (by me) versions of all sixteen stills from the movie that currently are on that page.

The screenplay for Dying God was written by Lambot and Jean Depelley, based on a story by Nicanor Loreti (who himself is directing Broken Hearts and Bones) and Germán Val. The movie's cast apparently includes James Horan, Lance Henriksen, Erin Brown (a.k.a. Misty Mundae), Agathe de la Boulaye, Enrique Liporace, Victoria Maurette (she's also in Albert Pyun's Left for Dead and his BulletFace), Ivan Espeche, Samuel Arena, and Brad Krupsaw.

Here's a description of Dying God by (Nicanor) Loreti, as quoted in the Fangoria article "Henriksen, Erin Brown in Fango writer's DYING GOD": "Dying God is about a serial killer who is murdering and raping women in a decadent and dark city, and a corrupt cop... who takes matters into his own hands after he discovers that this case is one that can be solved. The detective teams up with the local coroner and a pimp to try to stop the killer, and in their quest they discover that it's an ancient Indian monster who's murdering and raping out of revenge, and for a reason -- one that can bring hell on earth. The basic idea was to do a throwback to '70s gialli mixed with shocking '80s movies. We threw in everything we wanted to see in a film... an awful monster, corrupt cops, call girls, and buckets of blood."
