Marché du Film: October Kingsley's DR. FUGAZZI

Distribution rights for October Kingsley's Dr. Fugazzi are to be offered for sale by Shoreline Entertainment Inc. at this year's Marché du Film in Cannes; the movie is scheduled to be screened at the Palais D on May 20th at 10:00 p.m. (22:00).

As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, the screenplay for Dr. Fugazzi was written by Kingsley. The movie stars Faye Dunaway as Detective Rowland, (October) Kingsley as Dr. Anna Fugazzi, Jeff Van Atta as Maynard Townsend, Craig Banks as Pete Ryker, Jereme Leason as Leonard, Joe Nicchi as Zephyr, Gary-7 as Mr. Carducci, Steve Larkin as Professor Elam, Greg Siebel as Python, Christie Lynn Smith as Madame Tulare, Martha Smith as Kitty Carloff, and Cheryl Tsai as Grace Chen.

Here's a synopsis for Dr. Fugazzi from Shoreline Entertainment's website: "Dr. Anna Fugazzi is a young, attractive psychologist with a devoted boyfriend, a slew of stimulating friends, and a bright future ahead of her. But beneath her perfect life and calm exterior lies a deadly secret that she herself cannot imagine - much less confront! There is a delicate balance between reality and illusion, the conscious and the subconscious, and for Anna, the truth lies somewhere in the middle between the beauty of her present life and the horror of the not-so-distant past.
