WOF: World première of Frank W. Montag's SLASHER
Frank W. Montag's Slasher is scheduled to have its world première at the Weekend of Fear (WOF) 2007 in Erlangen, Germany on the morning of April 28th at around 2:00 a.m.; Montag is expected to attend.
The screenplay for Slasher was written by Montag and Jörn Döring. The movie stars Christiane Imdahl as Erin, Christian Stock as Danny, Pia de Buhr as Julie, Sebastian Badenberg as Mike, Michael Eisenburger as Chris, Heiko Lange as Tom, Maja Makowski as Maya, Peter Herff as the farmer, Hannah Kobitzsch as the farmer's daughter, Andreas Jahn as the farmer's son, Vivien Walter as the professor, Katrin Hess as victim #1, Vanessa Radenberg as victim #2, Patrick Dewayne as victim #3, Nadine Beuche as victim #4, Yvonne Beuche as victim #5, Mayang Alexandra Henselek as victim #6, Thomas Kercmar as the butcher, Nora Krehan as the butcher's wife, Meelah Adams as Lea, Patrick Battenberg as Alex, Stephanie Jost as Maya's friend, Anna Woycek as Tom's friend, Norman Koschmieder as disco guy #1, Daniel Steinmann as disco guy #2, Matthias Döring as disco guy #3, Jan Bilitewski as disco guy #4, and Hans Christian Hanrath as the cashier.
Here's a synopsis for Slasher from the official website for the movie: "Psychology student Erin (Christiane Imdahl) has had enough with her studies. Frustrated, she and her friends Julie (Pia de Buhr) and Danny (Christian Stock) decide to spend a relaxing weekend in the woods, far from their everyday lives. Gathering up several more friends, the group heads into the forest - but their carefree weekend quickly goes downhill. When an unexpected stranger arrives, their fun turns into a nightmarish race for survival. Alone, bloodied, and hunted - the group's friendship is put to the test... and secrets from their black pasts have begun to darken the present."
