The Mob at the Dance

One of the great things about Sundance (and co-inhabitant of Park City Slamdance) is that you can share the experience in so many different ways.

Based on past history, David Hudson's updates at GreenCine Daily are, of course, essential, along with the extensive coverage provided by IndieWire and any number of dedicated bloggers.

A new experiment in sharing is provided by filmmaker Lance Weiler (the superb Head Trauma, one of my Top 10 Experiences of 2006) and the Workbook Project. Simply go to their fest mob page, where Park City attendees can share text messages, photos, and videos about their experiences via mobile phone and e-mail.

I didn't really understand how cool this idea is until I visited the page to get a feeling for what's going on. Now that I'm addicted to updates, excuse me while I check to see which parties/screenings I'm missing...
