Update on DIE SILBERMASKE (SHIRUBÂ KAMEN) - Silver Mask movie directed by Akio Jissôji, Tsugumi Ki
A large (400 x 300) downloadable version of the trailer for Die Silbermaske (Shirubâ Kamen - or "Silver Kamen", if you prefer back-transliterations) has been added to the official website for the movie.
As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, Die Silbermaske was supervised by the late Akio Jissôji (March 29, 1937 - November 29, 2006). It was directed by Jissôji (1st story / dai-1 hanashi), Tsugumi Kitaura (2nd story / dai-2 hanashi), and Mitsunori Hattori (3rd story / dai-3 hanashi). The screenplay for it was written by Takao Nakano and Yûji Kobayashi, based on story material by Jissôji and the late Mamoru Sasaki (September 13, 1936 - February 24, 2006). It stars Nina (Nîna, a.k.a. Nina Uchida) as Zabine (Zabîne) / Silver Mask (Shirubâ Kamen). It co-stars (listed order corresponds to order on cast page of official website) Dai Watanabe, Kenji Mizuhashi, Renji Ishibashi, Masayuki Yamamoto, Mitsuru Akaboshi, Kyûsaku Shimada, Satoshi Nikaidô, Masakazu Itô, Adeyto (Adeito), Elly Watanabe (Watanabe Erî), Masami Horiuchi, Yuriko Hishimi, MiWa, and Minori Terada. (MiWa's name was added to the cast page on December 14th; she was the Silver Mask suit actress (Shirubâ Kamen sûtsu akutoresu).)
Euro Space Y.K. (Y.K. Yûro Supêsu) is scheduled to release Die Silbermaske at the Euro Space in Tokyo on December 23rd.
