According to the Fangoria article "Big Lionsgate DVD update: DESPERATION & more" (May 26th), Lions Gate Home Entertainment (Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.) is scheduled to release Craig McMahon's Machined on DVD in the U.S. on August 15th.

The screenplay for Machined was written by McMahon. The movie stars David C. Hayes as Motorman Dan, Patti Tindall as Angela, Jose Rosete as Ryan, Mark Ray as Clay, Eleni C. Krimitsos as Lisa, Elias Castillo as the cop, Matt Robinson as Nick, Nessa Hawkins as Christine, Jim Gulliford as Mr. Parker, Helen Pierce as Mrs. Parker, Kevin Moyers as Lenny, and Kathleen Benner as the reporter.

Here's a description of Machined from the official website for the movie: "Collectors have been known to go to extreme lengths to get what they want. For Motor Man Dan, the ultimate possession would be to have his very own serial killer, to fulfill his sick, obsessive, murderous appetite. ¶ Ryan, the victim of a terrible accident who suffered severe head trauma, would be that missing piece to complete Motor Man's demented collection. ¶ Motor Man would then tool and manufacture this half-machine, half-man serial killer, which he would then have orchestrate and produce an assortment of killing scenarios. ¶ From director Craig McMahon comes this gruesome tale of a desolate man who took collecting seriously."

As was reported here on ScreenAnarchy on Wednesday (May 24th), the official website for McMahon's SportKill is online, and there's a downloadable teaser trailer (as well as seven posters) for the movie on that site. The official website for McMahon's Orville also is online, although at present it's just a home page.
