Keisuke Toyoshima's TALES OF TERROR: THE CURSE OF NOBUHIRO-SAN (KAIDAN SHIN MIMIBUKURO: NOBUHIRO-SAN

Distribution rights for Keisuke Toyoshima's theatrical movie Tales of Terror: The Curse of Nobuhiro-san (Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: Nobuhiro-san) are being offered for sale by Happy Together Film & TV at the Marché du Film in Cannes. The movie is being screened at the Palais J on Thursday May 18th at 2:00 p.m. (14:00) and Saturday May 20th at 8:30 p.m. (20:30).

The screenplay for Tales of Terror: The Curse of Nobuhiro-san was written by Jun'ya Katô, based on one of the stories in the book Shin Mimibukuro: gendai hyaku monogatari: dai-shichi-ya by Hirokatsu Kihara and Ichirô Nakayama. The movie's principal cast apparently includes Rina Uchiyama, Mitsuru Hirata, Kazuya Takahashi, Reiko Tajima, Chinami Iwamoto, Denden, Mariko Tsutsui, Daisuke Iijima, Sumie Sasaki, and Junkichi Orimoto.

The Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro franchise is also comprised of the BS-i satellite TV series Tales of Terror from Tokyo (Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro) - a.k.a. "Tales of Terror from Tokyo and All Over Japan" - the theatrical omnibus movie Tales of Terror (Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: gekijô-ban) - a.k.a. "Tales of Terror from Tokyo and All Over Japan: The Movie" - and Akio Yoshida's theatrical movie Tales of Terror: Haunted Apartment (Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: gekijô-ban: 'yûrei manshon').
