The official subsite for Mitsuru Meike's The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai (Hanai Sachiko no karei na shôgai) - an extended version of his Horny Home Tutor: Teacher's Love Juice (Hatsujô kateikyôshi: sensei no aijiru) - is now online, and there's a trailer (see the bottom of this article) of sorts for the movie on that site. Shin-Tôhô Eiga K.K. and Kokuei K.K. are scheduled to release The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai theatrically in Japan on November 26th; they released Horny Home Tutor: Teacher's Love Juice theatrically in Japan on October 14, 2003.
As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, the screenplay for The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai was written by Takao Nakano, who also wrote the screenplay for Minoru Kawasaki's Kabuto-O Beetle (Kabuto-Ô Bîtoru). Nakano's directing credits include Mikosurihan gekijô: namashibori sûpâ DX, Sexual Parasite: Killer Pussy (Kiseichû: kirâ pusshî), Queen Bee Honey (Bikyonyû kosupure senshi: Kuinbî Hanî), Sumo Vixens (Hana no onna sumô), and the ExorSister (Chô-yôma densetsu Uratsuki-dôji) tetralogy.
The principal cast of The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai is as follows: Emi Kuroda, Kyôko Hayami, Kanae Mizuhara, Takeshi Itô, Yukijirô Hotaru, Tetsuaki Matsue, Yôta Kawase, Setsuhiko Kobayashi (a.k.a. Takahiko Kobayashi), Agusai Reza (romanization of katakanization), Kikujirô Honda, Masataka Matsubara, Masayoshi Nogami (a.k.a. Seigi Nogami; he has been in at least four of Daisuke Yamanouchi's movies: Zetsurin gifu: shonanoka no wafuku niizuma, Benriya kaseifu: kagi no ana kara, Uzuku gibo to musume: nekojita kurabe, and Yumeno Maria: chô-inran onna no shiseikatsu), Shinji Kubo, Yûji Motoi, Mutsuo Yoshioka, Hotaru Hazuki (Haduki Hotaru; she was in Daisuke Yamanouchi's Benriya kaseifu: kagi no ana kara), Yoshimi Kinuta, and Yûichi Ishikawa.
Here's Jasper Sharp's synopsis of The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai from this page for the movie on the website of the Raindance Film Festival: "Sachiko Hanai is a call girl specialising in role-playing the type of lusty home tutor every adolescent boy dreams of having correct his homework. One day she inadvertently stumbles into a coffee shop interrupting some dodgy dealings. Tempers flare, guns are drawn and Sachiko finds herself in the path of a stray bullet that hits her bang in the centre of her forehead. Dazed and confused, she wanders into the streets, not noticing a mysterious metal canister being inserted into her handbag. Her attempts at dislodging the bullet with an eye-liner pencil set off a volley of flashing lights and strange images; suddenly Sachiko finds herself able to speak foreign languages and solve complex formulae, making her much in demand as a bona-fide tutor. Unfortunately, the cylinder contains a replica of the finger of the US president, whose fingerprint is capable of unleashing nuclear Armageddon. Sachiko soon begins to finds herself the subject of unprecedented international attention. Meike's sexy, anarchic, satirical romp was originally released into pink cinemas in a 65-minute version called Horny Home Tutor: Teacher's Love Juice, but proved so popular that a 'director's cut' was prepared, featuring enough raunch, humour and weirdness to please all but the most po-faced. The depiction of the current incumbent at the White House is particularly to be savoured."
