Here is some info on three upcoming movies (co-)produced by Tsuburaya Entertainment K.K. (K.K. Tsuburaya Entâteinmento)...

Evil Apartment (Sukima): directed by Kei Nakata; screenplay by Tamio Hayashi; starring Eri Nomura, Sayaka Itô, and Miyako Yamaguchi. Premièred at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2005 (Yûbari Kokusai Fantasutikku Eigasai 2005) on February 25th. Japanese sale DVD (APS-79) scheduled to be released on September 22nd.

Nekome kozô [working title]: directed by Noboru Iguchi; screenplay by Mana Yasuda, based on the eponymous manga serial by Kazuo Umezu; starring Miku Ishida, Naoto Takenaka, Hiromasa Taguchi, and Ryûji Sainei. Scheduled to be released in Japan in 2006.

Chäin II (Chên II) [working title]: directed by Ryûichi Honda; screenplay by Sakichi Satô; starring Miyû Sawai (a.k.a. Miyuu Sawai), Aoi Miura, Eriko Nakamura, Ayaka Matsui, and Hiroshi Yamamoto. Scheduled to be released in Japan in 2006.

BTW, the official website for Atsushi Shimizu's Chäin (Chên) still is online. The screenplay for that movie was written by Tomomi Ôkubo. The movie starred Minako Komukai, Nao Takai, Kana Itô, Masaru Miyazaki, Hideki Sone, and Ryûichi Ôura. It premièred at the Cinema Shimokitazawa in Tokyo on July 19, 2003, and was released on sale DVD (BBBJ-3753) in Japan on September 25th of that year.

Kei Nakata's other directing credits include Tsurugi: The Future Swordsman (Tsurugi), Ecstasy Express (Shiberia Chôtokkyû: yokubô ressha), and Muhito: The Matchless Man (Muhito). He was in Katsuya Matsumura's All Night Long 2 (Ôru naito rongu 2).

Noboru Iguchi's other directing credits include Impolite Education (18-kin - abunai kankei: the kinshinsôkan), the short "Evil Guy" ("Yôchû no harawata") - a.k.a. "Entrails of a Larva" - and A Larva to Love (Koi suru yôchû). He co-starred with Ken'ichi Endô, Chisato Morishita, and Yasuhito Hida in Kôsuke Suzuki's Oppai Alien (Oppai seijin).

Ryûichi Honda's other directing credits include Ikusa, Peau de mon épouse (Dappi waifu) - a.k.a. "My Wife's Shell" - Watermelon (Wôtâmeron), and the short "Pussycat Great Mission!" ("Pusshîkyatto daisakusen").

Atsushi Shimizu's other directing credits include The Wish (Negai) - one of the half-dozen hour-long movies in the Kazuo Umezu's Horror Theater (Umezu Kazuo: kyôfu gekijô) series.
