On Tuesday the news services were abuzz with news that K-Pop star [and in the big picture aren't they all stars?] Bi, or Rain, would be starring in a movie with Jackie Chan, through his JCE company, titled BB Plan, directed by Chen Musheng [Who Am I? and Gen-X Cops]. And according to reports, a representative from JCE confirmed this news and that talks were underway to bring the young man on board and begin filming in October. The reports also stated that Eric Tsang and Samuel Hung were also on board to star. Rain's role in the movie was that of an accomplished thief. There would be chances to show off the comedian side of him and there were to be a lot of action scenes involved.
Then on Wednesday the rumors were blown wide open and Rain's representatives have denied the whole thing. A representative from Bi's agency, JYP Entertainment, said that "These Hong Kong reports about Bi starring in a movie with Chan is not true. There has not even been any talk about this between us or anybody on Chan's side." According to JYP Entertainment, "Last July, Bi went to Hong Kong and mentioned that he admired Jackie Chan. This information was most likely morphed into this false rumor that he is filming a movie with Chan."
"Our partners from Hong Kong, Universal Music, have also recieved many queries regarding whether or not Bi was really filming the movie with Chan. They are trying to send out as many explanations as possible and are really sweating it right now."
